A Little Light Reading: Rational Christianity Edition
Being a fan of reason and rational thought, I’ll probably check in on the opposition at new site Rational Christianity from time to time. If you have any interest in Christian apologetics you might want to sneak a peek.
In other news:
- Loneliness plays factor in god belief @ The Information Paradox - this shouldn’t really come as a great surprise, If you’re busy hanging out with lots of friends you have less time to worry about religion. I am hoping that I never become so lonely that I need to believe that my imaginary friends are real though
- Alpha male @ New Humanist - founded at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, the Alpha Course bills itself as “an opportunity to explore the meaning of life” and can be found at churches of all denominations up and down the country. But what is it really like?
- What’s So Bad About Religion? @ An Apostate’s Chapel - well, where shall we begin? A great exploration of some reasons why dogmatic religion, like opium, isn’t a harmless pastime

Got something to say?

Thanks for the mention.
Rational Christianity is an oxymoron.
Given the typical YEC responses and apologetics, I generally couldn’t agree more. Which is disconcerting, given that I’m the webmaster and author of Rational Christianity. ;-p
I have to admit that I find Christianity at heart to be irrational, on the other hand, I’m quite interested in seeing what can be made of it in a rational sense.
well that craven coward(redundancy intentional)ebon musings ,has just banned another theist because that theist was kicking ebon’s ass in a de bate! and he has deleted all the debate( imagine that!) (it surely helps if you can ban the debater and then george orwell all the debate too!) anyway, daylight atheism is dying a slow blogue death, all that is left is a couple bored teenagers and two grad teaching assistansts who cant even find adjunct faculty positions! crAVen cowardice is bad for the gene pool!
Whilst the web in general is quite democratic, no particular website is. Everyone reserves the right to delete content from sites that they maintain.
